Presence is one of the systems used to train discipline which is usually used by formal agencies. Therefore, attendance becomes very important for the purposes of not only administration but also the discipline of a member of the agency. The problem that I found at SMA PGRI Lawang (SMAPRILA) is that its presence is still not well filled, so as a writer I want to give an idea of ​​a tool that can help SMAPRILA solve the problem of its presence. The solution that I plan to give is to make an Arduino-based attendance device with an RFID system because with an RFID card students don't need to make direct contact with the device, just bring it closer because during a pandemic like this it is expected to reduce direct contact. With the results of the tool can detect RFID cards
