Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged changes in administrative management across various institutions, including non-formal religious education institutions such as Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) and Madrasah Diniyah (Madin). In practice, many TPQ and Madin still manage financial administration manually, particularly in recording students’ infaq contributions. This condition potentially leads to disorganized data, recording errors, and difficulties in financial recapitulation and reporting.

This community service activity aims to improve the digital literacy and skills of administrative staff, teachers, and managers of TPQ and Madin Al Abror Malang through training on the use of Microsoft Excel as a more efficient tool for recording students’ infaq contributions. The implementation method included initial observation, interactive tutorials, hands-on practice, discussions, and assistance in developing monthly and annual infaq recording templates. The results show an increase in participants’ understanding of basic Microsoft Excel functions and their ability to independently compile and use financial recording templates. The developed Excel templates were proven to enhance efficiency, accuracy, organization, and transparency in managing students’ infaq records. This activity is expected to serve as an initial step toward simple digital transformation in the financial administration of TPQ and Madin.
