This community service program was conducted from January to March 2025 in Pandanwangi, Blimbing, Malang, and aimed to enhance students’ understanding and skills in implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technology, particularly in agricultural applications. The program combined theoretical lectures and hands-on sessions covering microcontroller programming, sensor integration, MQTT communication protocol, and real-time monitoring using Node-RED. Participants, who were students from STMIK PPKIA Pradnya Paramita, actively engaged in designing, assembling, and deploying smart farming devices on actual agricultural plots. A structured pretest–posttest evaluation revealed significant improvements in both conceptual knowledge and practical competencies among the participants. Beyond technical achievements, the program contributed to increased digital literacy and awareness of technological innovation in agriculture. Furthermore, the developed systems demonstrate promising potential for future commercialization and wider community adoption. This initiative serves as a foundation for sustainable technology-based solutions in farming and encourages students to participate in real world problem solving through applied IoT.
