Penerapan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Gudang Terintegrasi Dengan Kasir (E-Warehouse) KPRI Politeknik Negeri Jember

Abstract

Koperasi Pegawai Republik Indonesia (KPRI) of Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) plays a vital role in improving the economic and social welfare of its members through various strategic business units, including the provision of daily necessities through its retail store (minimarket/cooperative store). However, its operations face significant challenges due to the continued use of a manual warehouse management system. The primary issues include stock discrepancies between physical inventory and administrative records, the risk of financial losses caused by expired products resulting from the lack of monitoring of the First Expired First Out (FEFO) method, and considerable time inefficiencies during monthly audit and stock-taking (stock opname) activities. To address these challenges, this Community Service Program aims to implement an integrated digital solution in the form of a web and desktop based application called E-Warehouse. The implementation employed the Waterfall development model, which follows a systematic and sequential process, beginning with partner needs analysis, system design, development, testing, implementation, and system handover. In addition to system deployment, the program also included intensive mentoring and training (transfer of knowledge) for the administrative staff of KPRI Polije to ensure effective system adoption. The implementation of the E-Warehouse system is expected to improve the accuracy and real-time validity of transaction data, minimize manual recording errors, and support the establishment of modern, efficient, and sustainable cooperative governance.
