Abstract

Vocational education demands strong practical skills, but the phenomenon of post-pandemic learning loss or insufficient practice hours often leads vocational high school students to lose their understanding of basic programming concepts. This community service was carried out at SMK Cakra Kusuma, Jombang, aiming to restore the basic competencies (re-skilling) of Multimedia students in website development and to strengthen algorithmic logic through educational game creation. The main challenges faced by the school are students’ difficulties in writing text-based code syntax and low learning motivation due to the perception that programming is difficult. The activity implementation method uses a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach. The training material is divided into two main focuses: (1) Basic Web Programming (HTML & CSS) to build the structure and design of web pages, and (2) Visual Programming (Scratch) to train computational thinking. Evaluation is carried out through pre-tests and post-tests (cognitive), final product assessments (psychomotor), and daily reflections (affective). The expected outcome of these activities is to improve the competence of students in correct and structured programming understanding.
