This community service program aimed to enhance the bookkeeping skills of micro, small, and medium enterprises in Malang by training participants on the fundamental use of Microsoft Excel. The training addressed challenges faced by participants, such as the inefficiency and inaccuracy of manual bookkeeping methods, by introducing key Excel features like formulas, tables, and financial calculations relevant to their business operations.The one-day program included interactive lectures, discussions, and practical exercises, with participants' comprehension evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments. The pre-test results, with an average score of 2.29 categorized as poor, reflected participants' initial unfamiliarity with Excel. After the training, the post-test average score improved significantly to 3.61, categorized as good, demonstrating enhanced understanding and skills in using Excel for financial reporting, including production cost calculations. The program successfully achieved its objective of empowering participants with essential technological competencies tailored to their business needs. It underscores the value of targeted training in addressing skill gaps and enhancing the operational efficiency of micro, small, and medium enterprises through effective adoption of technology.
